Read Me _______ Installation and Setup ______________________ Unzip okprint.zip and copy the okprint.exe to your okwin directory. It will work no matter where it lives, but the file selection is always easiest if you start where the files are. One of the FILE menu options is "Create Desktop Shortcut" - click this to create a shortcut for yourself on your desktop. No, it won't hurt anything if you do it multiple times - only one shortcut will live on the desktop. History of OKPrint Ver 1.1.0 ____________________________ I like to print out the bridge hands from an OKBridge session and review them when I get into bed. It was such a pain to review a hand that was spread over two pages so I wrote a little script for myself in REXX for OS/2 that printed one hand per page and it worked great. I figured I can't be the only one who likes to see the entire hand on a page by itself, so I thought I'd try to share this with all of you. I decided to get something working in Windows and nearly wrote it in Rexx for Windows, but then decided that a completely standalone version would be best. I had a copy of Visual Basic 5 which I used to write this. It was reasonably simple and the only trouble I had was getting hyperlinks to the internet to work - I wound up writing a custom control for that. So that's how OKPrint came to be. I have only tested this on Win98SE and Windows XP know it works in those environments. If someone finds that it works in other versions of Windows, I would appreciate it if you'd let me know so that I can update this Read Me file. Comments, bug reports, wishlists are all welcome and I will make every effort to fix the bugs and enhance the program based on your feedback. There are email links for each of the above categories in the application itself. Thanks for your support! Diane Walker Dibasoft diane@dibasoft.com
